Summary

The Remington 1100 TAC 4 is a gas-operated semi-automatic and was one of the first to feature improvements in felt recoil, weight and reliability. Designed and introduced in 1963 the 1100 was the successor to the Model 58 and 878 shotguns. The standard 1100 model has several variations in 12, 20, and 28 games as well as a .410 bore and is the best selling shotgun with over 4 million produced. Currently this weapon was used by Brazil, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico and some United States law enforcement agencies. The TAC 4 features a 22" barrel, as well as a 4-shot magazine extension. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mount as well.
